Resolving Con Ed Discrepancies
EMSI accepts, processes, and attempts to resolve discrepancies involving continuing education credits. This page describes common "potholes" in the road to recertification, and what you can do to steer clear of them.

Normally...
- Con Ed Sponsors submit con ed completion forms (bubble cards) to EMSI within 10 days of class termination (although we've seen them take up to 3 months).
- EMSI has a one week backlog of forms needing to be scanned into the regional database.
- Newly-scanned records are transmitted to the state once per week.
- The state takes up to two weeks to migrate new data to EMSAMS.
THEREFORE, on average, it takes 5-6 weeks for con ed to appear in EMSAMS. |

Each time you attend a con ed class, make a note of your 14 digit Class Number before you are dismissed. EMSI needs this number to find the class roster. |

If you are an ALS practitioner, you must send us a copy of your current CPR card each year. |
